My sister Michelle and her (now) fiance Paul is getting married in April !

Apparently they’ve been planning this for a while

Paul proposed yesterday and they’re getting married on 26 April 2008 - nope, it’s not a shot-gun wedding

Congratulations to them !

Can you believe it ? We’re in Feb 2008 already !

We’re going on leave in March and I cannot wait - 5 weeks and counting !

2007 has been an interesting year - with a couple of ups & downs, but mainly UP

I love my wife and kids SO MUCH !

I hope 2008 is an amazing year as well.

Today we got some wooden floors installed in our and the twins’ rooms.
Looks awesome !

I got my copy of Office 2004 for Mac installed today. I’m trying to go “completely” Mac

Today I started playing with Entourage (email client) and got it connected to Exchange. It took a while to download my emails and I probably have to “tweak” the setup a bit, but at least I can get to my mails easily

Well my holiday started on a bit of a down - the battery in my MacBook Pro DIED !
When I tried to use the notebook the 1st day, it just did not want to switch on - so I plugged it in to the power supply and the battery did not charge.
In MacOS it doesn’t even see that the battery is in the machine

It can be the battery or the circuitry in the machine - I have no way of knowing until we get back to JHB.

At least I can use the machine when plugged into the power supply.

We eventually got rid of our Landrover Freelander. It’s been giving us a lot of trouble the last few weeks and we decided to part ways.
A couple of weeks ago we were traveling to PTA and the oil seal on the rear diff went, we lost all oil and the diff broke.
We fixed the diff and got an unlimited kilometre/1 year warranty. On our 1st trip further than 50km it started leaking oil again !!!
I took it back and they apparently forgot to put a circlip in place over the one seal !!!

We have now spent a lot of money fixing the Landy and realised we could actually spend it on a brand new vehicle and have a warranty/motor plan included.

We went for a Hyundai Tucson 4×2.

It’s very nice and we’re very happy - travelled to PTA today and really enjoyed the drive.

I’ve finished 3 books already and been catching up on some zzzzzz’s [ I make use of the twins’ sleeping habits to catch up on my sleep as well - 2 naps a day ]

I haven’t taken many photos as yet - I’m still in a “strange” mood and can’t seem to find inspiration for photos [which is weird as I normally see most things as photographs]

Books I read:
- The Twelfth Card by Jeffery Deaver
- Possession by Peter James
- 24 Hours by Greg Iles

I quite liked the “24 Hours” book by Greg Iles and we’ll probably get some more of his work.
