My name is Sean van der Westhuizen, I'm 35 years old and happily married to my wonderful wife Heidi and we have twins - a boy (Skye) and a girl (Jade) [born 28/01/2006].

We both have a passion for photography, good food and anything "cool" (well maybe I'm the gadget freak).

I've always been interested in photography and from an early age used my dad's camera whenever I could.

I bought my first 35mm camera just after finishing university, but alas this camera was stolen. I then purchased a Pentax MZ-50 35mm camera (which I still own).

We ventured into "rolling" our own film (buying film in bulk and the rolling it onto 35mm canisters), as this worked out much cheaper than buying slide film.

It's only been recently (well come to think of it, it's been over a year!) that we took the plunge and converted to digital photography. Heidi & I both own Canon 300D (Digital Rebel) cameras and have completely been bitten by the bug :-)
